I’ll leave you alone from now on if that’s what you want, is that what you want? You know why I’d leave you alone? because I care about your feelings more than mine. I love you. There I said it, not just on some chalk board. I would never let anybody or anything hurt you. I’ve never felt that way about anyone.
FIRST KISS: We asked twenty strangers to kiss for the first time…
"What’s your name again?"
god this is so beautiful.
i love this
Some of these seriously I could feel in my heart just because the level of intimacy and the power even a simple kiss can hold.
i laughed so hard omfg this was so creative
we have these at work. THEY”RE AMAZING.
before moving out of your parents house, realize that nobody gives two shits about you or what happens to you. nobody will be as tolerant or try to be as understanding, you are literally on your own.
honestly everyone has their ups and downs with their parents but i think our generation is seriously so fucking selfish. why can’t we remember all of the things our parents did for us, how they sheltered us, took care of us, and fed us, like what the fuck else matters if they didn’t let you go out on the weekends and made you study or were just really strict in general.
your parents know that they can’t keep you under their roofs forever and trust me when I say that they don’t want to. but what they can do is try their best to mold you in to an independent human being who can survive in the real world and won’t come crawling back to them because of some decision they made when they were nineteen years young and had no clue about how real life was.
after considering this and understanding that you can and want to do this on your own because of whatever super legitimate reason that doesn’t involve you being a selfish twat, then you need to begin doing your research. Look at areas you want to live in depending on the work you want to find or school you’re going to. Think about transportation, since trans costs are constantly going up is it better for you to commute from a further place and live in a cheaper area or be right by where you need to be and spend little to none on trans money and more on rent.
you most likely will not be able to afford your own apartment or studio apartment or whatever you kids think is awesome and shit these days like let’s get practical and be real. you need to look for roommates if you’re looking to move in to a new place in general, which is not too wise, or look for an apartment or house that is looking for new roommates.
if you’re a girl, please be safe and don’t think that real life situations are like Korean dramas or animes like moving in to a place with four males might not be the smartest idea, maybe you wanna make sure there is another female, and vice versa for males, or strictly all one gender. it might sound silly but better be safe than sorry. when going to interviews ask them questions too and see if they’re the type of people you want to live with as well. it depends on the type of lease you have, but most are a year. you don’t want to put up with stupid shit for a year because that’s more money you have to spend to end your lease early, look for another place, and go in to chaos. Look at your school’s websites for potential roommates or apartments, and make sure to visit places and not just take some online scam on craigslist.
you need to jot down your financial status and see how much money you have now, how much you can spend and how long you can go for if you cant immediately get a job.
then there are legal matters depending on what state or country you’re from. are you going to be an emancipated independent because you say that they’re not going to offer financial assistance but that goes for school too, like whether or not they’re contributing to your tuition. and then there’s the whole factor of if you are paying on your own do you really want to screw yourself over with loans and if so how hard and long?
balancing school and work is hard too, especially when you’re on your own. make sure to take care of yourself and your studies. school should always be first, and if you think you’re going to be struggling with that then maybe you need to rethink your options.
you have the rest of your life to grow up, I hope you don’t try to grow up too fast and enjoy being nineteen for what it is.
